Heritage Probuild Ltd was established in June 2014 by myself, Thomas Bone.

 

I am a City and Guilds qualified bricklayer with over 15 years general construction

experience. I take pride in my work and carry out every project to a high standard

with a genuine passion for the building trade.

 

I am honest, reliable and have the ability to deliver a quality product.

History of my Trade experience.

​

I entered the building trade at 17 years old, working as a labourer for an electrical

contractor. Six months later I made the first small steps to becoming a general

builder when starting a new job as a labourer in a local building company.

​

At 19, I began my official training as an apprentice Bricklayer and studied the trade at Grantham College. I proudly achieved my National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) over a three year period, completing a number of various practical and theoretical examinations to finally receive my completion certificate in November 2009.

​

Now qualified and working locally as a self employed general builder. I was blessed to have achieved my first of many career goals after quoting and completing my first single story extension from start to finish at 22 years old. A year passed when suddenly the opportunity arose to go travelling with two friends. It was Christmas 2010 and excitedly we boarded the plane. Destinations included Thailand, Hong Kong, Fiji and New Zealand. Three months later we finally arrived in the Commonwealth of Australia where I lived and worked as an Australian resident for nearly three years.

I worked as a journeyman bricklayer in various self employed bricklaying gangs, across the states of Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. The building sites ranged from high rise, inner city commercial projects to smaller domestic house builds. I was fortunate to work alongside some very talented craftsmen and I learnt their methods. Tested new materials, used specialist equipment and conducted architectural pieces whilst conforming to Australian building regulations; which drastically developed my skills.

Returning home to England with my new construction knowledge, I was keen to get back on the tools and set up my own business. As a result Heritage Probuild Ltd was born.

​

Over the last six years.

 

The Probuild team has been hired in for sub contracting:​​​

• to assist with building houses on various new build development sites

• as a specialist in brick, block and stone work

​

Been a commercial building contractor for local businesses:

• creating offices

• large warehouse partition walls

• structural and maintenance work

 

Worked locally in the domestic sector:

• building extensions

• bungalows

• loft conversions

• and many other smaller build projects.

​

My all time goal is to build my own home.
